HAIR INSTALLATION

When installing the hair, do not cut the wefts or put the needle through the weft as this can lead to excessive shedding.

Although shedding is minimal with our hair, the wefts can be sealed before each install to prevent further shedding.

SHAMPOOING THE HAIR

Wash the hair before installation and at least once a week using quality shampoo.

When brushing your hair before a wash, start from the ends of the hair and work your way up using a paddle brush or a wide toothed comb

Wash the hair with any of the recommended shampoos and rinse off the shampoo with lukewarm water (you can repeat this step).

CONDITIONING THE HAIR

Deep condition the hair at least twice a month and leave the conditioner on the hair for at least 2 hours to allow for maximum rehydration.

Add a generous amount of conditioner to the hair and brush the hair gently from hair tips to the weft.

Wrap the hair in cling film and leave in a plastic bag or a warm area. This is will retain the moisture and generate heat. Leave for a few hours (or a few days).

Rinse the conditioner out of the hair with lukewarm water

Gently dry the hair with a towel, add a little argon oil or hair serum to each bundle of hair and leave the hair to air dry.

STYLING THE HAIR

Use minimal heat on the hair and use heat protectants when applying heat to the hair.

Wear a silk scarf to cover the hair at night; this will help prevent the hair from becoming dry and breaking.

Do not straighten or curl the hair when wet as this can permanently damage the hair.

When brushing your hair, start from the ends of the hair and work your way up using a paddle brush or a wide-toothed comb.

Bleaching or using hair dyes can damage the hair extensions especially if poor quality products are used. Once chemically treated, the hair cannot be guaranteed to be as durable. It is very important to keep the hair hydrated and well looked after especially after treatment. Please watch out for any allergies and be sure to strand test first.

Please ensure you receive counsel from hair experts before trying new products on the hair to prevent hair damage.

CURLY HAIR ADVICE

When washing your deep wave hair please start by combing gently in sections from the tips of the extensions to the roots. Please use a wide tooth comb. Once it has been combed out, immerse the hair extensions in water and lightly shampoo and condition the hair. When the conditioner has been applied, brush through the hair and put it in a plastic bag to condition for a minimum of 30 minutes before washing it out. Leave it to air dry. Style as desired.
